It’s starting to freeze and snow – Christmas time! The islands in Born (Germany) had to be taken out of the water for maintenance work. Improved versions will be installed again in April 2019 and planted with yellow flag, purple loosestrife, sedges and rushes. In Juodkrante (Lithuania) floating islands from Biomatrix were already delivered and are waiting to be planted and put into the water. So the Curonian lagoon will already get a second installation site in 2019! So many exciting things for next year… We wish you a wonderful Christmas time and will keep you updated!
