The project has participated in science and technology exhibition “Innovation Drift 2019” (2019 June 13 – 14, Vilnius, Lithuania) were floating islands as green technology presented to the public together with other Klaipėda university’s technological-scientific achievements. Constructed floating wetlands is an eco-engineering solution increasingly applied for water restoration. Also floating mats could be an extra space for biodiversity and increase aesthetic value of the coastline. The Innovation Drift is the largest bi-annual assembly in Lithuania with ~2000 participants.
